The Quality Assurance Assistant position is an entry level to experienced position. The QA Assistant contributes to the team by maintaining accuracy with recordkeeping, auditing and maintaining proprietary software.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly exposed to office noises (i.e., office machines, conversations, foot traffic). Also, may occasionally be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.

The employee is regularly required to sit; occasionally climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
Full-time, non-exempt. Monday – Friday 7:30am-4:30pm. This position reports to the worksite daily.

- Maintain and manage customer aircraft records in logbooks.
- Enter customer information in Corridor & create reports to send to customers.
- Create and edit Work Order quotes, work orders; enter and edit items, squawks & resolution, create reports.
- Create WO binders (checklists, inspections, ADs/SBs, misc. supporting documentation, etc.)
- Research ADs, update compliance on TDATA & in Corridor; research SBs, ASBs, EASBs & update compliance in Corridor.
- Update component cards as requested (removals, installs).
- Draft preliminary logbook entries for majority of all Airframe (MX) jobs performed by the repair station.
- Conduct preliminary review of all Airframe WOs – work with leads, techs, CI with incomplete items and clarification.
- Assist with monthly SBH (Service by the Hour) Turbomeca Reports & ACTT / MRO reports for Airbus.
- Enroll/build new managed customer aircraft in Corridor.
- Update inspection, servicing, AD/SB compliance and any component changes in Corridor post MX.
- Order Customer records on 337s from FAA.
- Work with Accounting Department - PO, WO, and vendor and customer invoicing questions.
- Job tracking – Update Outlook calendar & open WOs spreadsheet.
- Performs other duties as directed by leadership team.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
- 145 Repair Station experience
- A&P certificate
