CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE – LOGISTICS

Position Purpose
Primary role is to support the logistics department’s suite of services; which includes working with customer internal and external in placing orders, support of tool programs, packaging & shipping tools/parts, tools/parts receiving, and assisting with facilities-related duties.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly exposed to office noises (i.e., office machines, conversations, foot traffic). Also, may occasionally be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.

The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Essential Functions

- Customer service and constant communication to customers, externally and internally.
- Monitors and maintains quotes to customers via email and phone.
- Processes purchase orders, repair, and service orders.
- Records purchases, maintains database, and orders stock replenishments for CHS inventory.
- Receives, unpacks, and delivers goods; re-stocks items as necessary; labels shelves.
- Reconciles stock counts with reports generated by database.
- Initiates action to replenish stock by processing purchase orders and related paperwork.
- Receives, unpacks, and delivers items to requesting department(s) or places in proper storage area.
- Processes and documents returns as required following company procedures.
- Inspects shipments for accuracy, completeness, and resolves inconsistencies.
- Determines most efficient routing between multiple points.
- Performs routine clerical duties, including data entry, answering telephones, and assisting customers.
- Performs routine clerical duties using MS Office to support unit.
- Commits to maintaining clean, safe, work area.
- Cross trains in all Logistics responsibilities to assist as needed.
- Demonstrates teamwork, cooperation, and adaptability with internal and external customers.
- After-Hours Support - Occasional weekend AOG (Aircraft On Ground) support.
- Additional job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management.

Required Qualifications
- Previous Customer Service experience
- Microsoft Office experience: Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet
- Proven experience with paying attention to detail
- High school diploma, general education degree or equivalent required
- Numeric, oral, & written language skills
- Valid WA driver license with acceptable record
Preferred Qualifications
- Operate forklift strongly preferred. In-house training provided
- Willingness to fuel aircraft (not required)
- Aviation industry (Repair Station) experience a plus
- 1 year exp in inventory or purchasing

- Monday – Friday 7:00AM to 4:00PM. Available for OT on an as-needed basis.
- Occasional weekend availability for AOG after support.
